"Staatsiejas en koepiah van teukoe Oemar In 1893 werd teukoe Oemar omgekocht met geld, opium en wapens om tegen zijn eigen volk te gaan strijden. Hij werd krijgsheer in gouvernementsdienst. Uit deze periode dateert de hier getoonde staatsiejas. In 1896 keerd hij weer terug in het Atjehse kamp. Teukoe Oemar werd in 1899 in een Nederlandse hinderlaag gelokt en gedood. Wol, katoen, vezels. Atjeh, Sumatra. Eind 19de eeuw."
