"Pen Case Kashmir or Iran, 1880-1910 Lacquered papier maché, with a Farsi or Persian inscription which translates as:
'This pen holder is fit for a king with its design of a [paradise] garden' [on top].
The front translates as: 'When used by a ruler or first minister this pen case will give glory and light like the moon in the sky'." ....

Reed pens
