The blade on this axe is in line with the haft, and is single-edged, mounted in a gilt elephant's head. The end-cap and haft are gilt and decorated with etched flowers. The end-cap unscrews to reveal a stiletto blade. This unusual type of axe is usually known as a Bhuj after the town in Gujerat where many of them were made." ...
