"Ceremonial Dagger  Cambodia or Thailand, 11th century  Gilt bronze
​The dagger carries an inscription that reads: 'In the year 964 Shaka (A. D. 1042), the Lon Ayak Canhvar from the sanctuary dedicated to the Sovereign of the Universe of Treh made this offering.'  This is one of the very few inscribed and dated Khmer bronzes that have been preserved.  The surviving examples all seem to have come from Khmer provinces now within the borders of Thailand." ...
